KY Lake Info

Planning on a trip to KY Lake next year. Usually go to Weiss in Bama in March but am changing it up. I like to troll jigs and am looking for info on the best time of year (Mid April / Fisrst May) at KY Lake. I plan on staying around the Johnathon Creek are unless someone on here talks me out of it. Any info would be appreciated. Places to stay, etc.. Thanks
