Default Gills are in full force at Barren

We had a great evening of fishing yesterday at barren. Sorry I didn't take any pics but we caught well over 100 gills/red ears. We kept around 40-45 in the 6.5-7.5 inch range. Had 2 over 8 inches. Definitely an action packed evening for me and my nephew.

I've noticed, while craappie fishing, the gills seem to be getting bigger at Barren. Even my buddy who's fished Barren his whole life has said the same. May target them this friday as I'll be taking my son andd grandson out.

Turn em on to fishing and hunting before someone else turns them on to something we'll regret.

When you say red ear, you mean caught shell cracker out of barren lake?
