I'm using the Photobucket app on my iphone...(upload to Photobucket, click "Copy", paste right into the message pane here)...
It's 1 extra step than using Tapatalk...but Photobucket also allows me to have a online backup of the same pic that's in my camera roll...
I think Tapatalk is just a transfer app...not a transfer and online storage app...

Terry...try always taking the photo in landscape mode...(never in portrait mode)....
I've found a few quips on the Apple forums saying this may have something to do with "orientation metadata" associated with the photo when you took it...
Some of the opinions are saying other recipients outside of IOS (crappie.com for example) ...doesn't know how to read that metadata...
I don't know if any of that is true ...but it's worth a shot...
Try taking a few pix in landscape mode and posting them...
Then take a few pix in portrait mode and posting them...
