Any Cave Run lake reports?

I'm heading to the lake this coming Thursday for a few days and was hoping to hear some crappie reports. I will be fishing the Twin Knobs area. Thanks JC

I went yesterday and fished all day! I caught probably 100 give or take a few only kept 21 that were 9" to 12" not very good size! I fished around blackwater.

They were really doing good last week up until the front went through on Friday they were much slower over the week end.We've been catching a lot of fish in the 9"to 12" range with a 13" to 15" fish once in awhile. My best bait the last two weeks has been an Arkie weedless jig 1/8oz. that I have painted hot pink and rigged with a 2" yum white curly tail grub this has been out fishing live bait. The fish are ready to hit the banks anytime I caught a few yesterday in 5' of water and most were males that were starting to get their spawning color. I found some 67* water yesterday in the popin rock area I fished beaver Saturday it was 63*. We've had a lot of rain today and it looks like there's a lot more coming tonight and tomorrow if we get all the rain their giving things will be messed up for several days.
