    Default gunpowder creek yesterday

Went yesterday and caught a ton of little fish and only 3 that just barely would hit 9 inches. Water is still about a foot higher than normal and color was decent. Water temps were 55 when I started, and hit 60 when I left. Hopefully we start having some warmer nights.

Thanks for the report. Gunpowder is high on my list to fish this year. I fished Big Bone at Boone's Landing probably 1/2 dozen times last year. Didn't catch big #s but the crappie were bigger than average.

I also want to try Craig's Creek. It looks like a great area for crappie. It looks like I might be able to try dock shooting there too

If you are familiar with Big Bone, there's a big bay right near the mouth that goes pretty far back and I know its shallow. I thought about trying to go all the way back in there with a canoe and seeing if I can catch spawning crappie back there. Of course, if its badly silted, it might not be a good spawning location. It looks like it to me though.

I just never do well at big bone so it is hard for me to commit going there
