    Default Nolin Lake Crappie

Has anyone had a chance to get out on the lake lately? My boat has been down all winter just got it running so I havent been able to get out on the lake but Im going all week long next week just wondering if the bite is on and where. I have been hearing alot of stories but wanted to see if anybody on here has any reports.

I have heard from two different people that they have been doing great there but since I don't fish there often I have no real details. I will try to check it out.

One guy I know was at Weiss Lake in Alabama and on his way back stopped by and said they did just as good at Nolin. I know for sure he got his limit but have no details of size or where he fished.

I went Wed and had 29 keepers casting jigs. Fish were very scattered and not really relating to anything . Talked to some guys using minnows and bobber around stick ups and they had a few but said it was slow

I was on Nolin Saturday. It was a tough day. came home with 9 keepers. Main body was clear but the creeks, especially Brier creek, was very muddy. Main body temp was 56 and creeks were around 61. Hope this helps.
