    Default Herrington lake


    Hey guys fished herrington yesterday and didn't have any luck found water temp around 55 on main lake and 59 in back of creeks even tryed fishing from one of the docks no luck talk to several people they was not having any luck from gwinn up the river really muddy

    It's definitely not the easiest lake to catch Crappie from !!

    Yes it's tough but some really good crappie I was down there in dec and caught a limit and had several 15and 16 inch crappie I'll be back soon maybe Sunday and then wife and kid are out of town the next weekend so I'm going to green here there starting to so pretty good there had some friends went down mom and Tuesday and they had thirty to fourty keeper each good luck everone

    Went back today and had 15 nice blacks 5 to 10 feet jigs great day 10 to twelve inches

    try in the back of cane run creek. use jigs to long line around the points and through the stump beds in the back. minnows may work in the stumps also.

    Down here on my end near King's Mill it's pretty ugly right now...very muddy as I look down over the cliff at Herrington. Guess that can be expected being springtime and lotta rain recently.
    Glad to have access to a small private place few miles south of me where I can do my spring training and get my casting arm limbered up.
