ive fished cedar and was not impressed by it at all i caugh one bass about 21 inches while crappie fishing and 4 crappie that were 9 inches and less thats all that was caught that day nothing else i was thinking along the lines of beaver lake in lawrenceburg a small lake that warms quickly and isnt heavily preasured and has a good amount of 10+inch crappie if it wasnt flooded id just hit elkhorn and slay them there

I've fished Beaver before .... and I wasn't "impressed" with IT
The ramp is a joke ... 10hp limit ... gets mossed in so bad you can hardly fish it ... heavily pressured & heavily traveled by the locals & residents.
I don't do creeks, rivers, and small lakes often enough to keep up with them. I fished Cedar Creek last year, more for Shellcrackers than for Crappie. My go to lakes are Green, Herrington, Taylorsville, and Cave Run ... and pretty much in that order.
Wherever you go ... be sure & give us a report on how you do.

Fagan Branch in Marion Co is sure to be clear as I have never seen it get muddy. I have caught some nice crappie there but I mostly bluegill fish it. Really scenic and clean with a nice ramp. Fish the far side from the ramp for best fishing IMO. If you can find the submerged tree close to the outlet at the dam you should find a fish or 2!
