    Default Fruit jar tourney question

Ok so I know you can only bring 7 fish in the livewell to weigh in. My question is do culls hafta be thrown back or can they be put in a cooler so they can hang out with the beans and hushpuppys back at the house

Not sure if it's covered in the rules that Pappy and everyone put together but I guarantee you there are plenty of fish kept during the Crappie USA tourneys.
I always opt to pass on even keeping the 7 that I weigh in because for me the last thing I feel like doing is cleaning fish after that long a day. The 2 day tourneys are even more of a grind!

If I'm not mistaken they decided to let you catch and keep your limit but weigh your best 7.

Some of these guys are traveling a long way. They should at least be able to take a mess of fish home.

At any of the fruit jar tourney's you are allowed to keep the legal limit that is set for each lake. Just bring your best 7 to the weigh in.

We all still have to eat .

Good deal. As a boater it's my responsibility to get us to and from the lake, catch fish, plus handle boat operation. My co-anglers job is to catch fish and fillet all them suckers up when we get home!
