Default Question about Fruit Jar Tourney.....

I'm somewhat new to crappie fishing, new to crappie.com, new to the Fruit Jar Tourney, but ready to get going. I noticed the different locations of the tourney......Is each location a seperate tourney or are they all combined in some manner? Is there sometype of culmininating tourney at the end and "X" number of entries are required in the regular dates to participate? Thanks for the info.....just trying to get a little planning done. Thanks!

Yes, they are all separate tourneys.
No, there is no "Classic" tourney at the end of the series. These tourneys are being held to determine if there's enough interest & participation to warrant forming a club. And even if no club results from the tourneys, they will be evaluated for participation & results, with the idea of possibly continuing them (& possibly expanding the choices of lakes) in 2015.
The rules we've adopted for this tournament series are in a sticky post at the top of this page.

We also have some non-tourney get together (meet/greet/eat) events on Green River Lake, that you might also enjoy attending. Our next one is the 2014 Spring Fling on April 12th @ Holmesbend Marina. There's also likely to be a similar event at KY Lake, usually called a "shindig", and occurs sometime in April. Just keep your eyes on this forum for more information about these events.

    Welcome to Crappie.com
