A friend and I went today and the best spot was off the golf coarse high wall while spider rigging. We fished from the water intake pipe down to just past the last downed trees. They seemed to be about 12' deep and hit best in the water that was 17' deep. We kept 21.

If your boat is rigged with rod holders the tough part is done. Assuming that you single pole with long poles, put a bell sinker on the bottom, and I like using two stand off hooks above the sinker. I prefer using a 1/2oz sinker and a #2 gold Aberdeen hook. Watch your depth finder an lower the bait till its just above the fish then just bump your trolling motor till you can see the line pulling back on a slight angle. Next pour yourself a cup of coffee, that always makes them bite.
