Nice when a plan comes together.
Keep them poles bent and the boat right side up! LOL

Ranger Bob ... you must have been somewhere other than where I was on Cumberland, Saturday ... the wind was howling so bad, I never even bothered to try & cast a jig. All the Crappie we caught were in deep water brush, 15-25fow, and hanging close to the brush. Caught a lot of Bass, and a half dozen large Bluegill, along with a few Crappie over the weekend ... but, boat control was a joke on Saturday.

CP, I am with you...lol Was in the upper end of Fishing Creek Saturday and had 5 keepers on minnows in 20 - 25 FOW. Started shallow and went deep and couldn't find them. Good job Ranger Bob!

I will say this for the Bluegill I caught at Cumberland, last weekend ... they were big enough to easily fillet (>8"), and they gave up a filet that was as thick as the 10-11" Crappie we caught, just not as long.
    They were delicious, too !!

Like I told Chucky ... if we'd been fishing with wax worms & popeyes, we would have tore the Bluegill population a new one
