I know where the location of the photo is and I'd think that would be the right area to try more or less. I grew up around that park and had my first... there on a picnic table but other than a few catfish under 3 pounds I never caught much else. I haven't bothered in years, but with the size of the "lake" it wouldn't take much pressure to empty it. At any rate glad you guys caught a bunch and I won't bother your honey hole. Just brought to mind some good memories...

Word is out, so will the fish be pretty soon. I posted about a catch at my favorite fishing hole and the next time I went it had more boats fishing than I had ever seen. They were all fishing where someone had posted they saw me on the lake. Funny thing was, I didn't see anyone catch anything! They had moved to a different part of the lake and the forum followers did not look around, they just stayed where the other fella said he saw me catch a bunch. Have to protect your spot by not divulging information on here. Great to share our catches, but too many run to clean our honey holes out if we tell them too much. Just my two cents worth.
