Can anyone tell me what the name of the rock quarry is at lake city across from the pelican bait shop please I've drove by it a hundred times but cant remember what the name is.............. I'm looking to come down and work for 5 or 6 years then retire in God's country thanks guys

Used to be owned by the Reed family. Unless the name has changed recently, it is now owned by Vulcan Materials.

Good luck, from what I understand they have about half as many people as they did a few years ago. It wasn't but a year or two that they had another layoff.

Pine Bluff has a Rock Quarry in Livingston Co. at about mile 15 on the Cumberland River. Dux is right. The 1 in Lake City is owned by Vulacn Materials.
