herrington lake night bite

Crappie doing pretty good under lights at herrington with popeyes and hair jigs 1/64. Fish seem to be coming up in the 3 to 8 foot range in 20 -25 foot of water back in the creeks next to docks. Had 46 10 inch plus fish on sat. night into the morning fish turned off about 7 a.m. managed to catch a few with shad, but most come from casting jigs with real slow retrieve. Caught several shorter fish that we didnt keep. some whites but mainly black.
