D-Day Crappie

Went out on the 5th and 6th of June. Caught a limit both days. Fished from about 10 to 2:30. Boat traffic wasn't too bad but boy I miss the winter fish'n!

These "Post Spawn" White crappie are so thin you can read a Newspaper thru'um. The Blacks seem to have recovered a little better and have a little more meat on'um.

They were on the ledges in 13' to 18' fish'n 10 to 15' respectively. Mostly fished deeper stuff on the 6th and caught better fish.

Yep... I've got 2 of'um I'm chaffering around now! This pup is gonna be smarter than her mama if that's possible.

BTW... You can't tell in the picture, but the reason for the sourpuss look was because I was 1 SUNBURNED Son Of A Gun! My legs got cooked!
