    Default Bluegill Spawn


    My buddy and i fished several hours yesterday for blue gill and places i have always caught them, they just was not there. Anybody know what is going on with them?

    Full moon is coming up next week. I think the 24 th should pick up next week
    Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

    caught 86 nice blue gills monday and could have caught twice that many since we left at 4:30 in the afternoon even tho they were still biting good.

    I talked to several people that day including a well known guide on ky lake and no one was having any luck with the bluegills, curious as to how deep you were catching them

    Most were caught about 5-7ft deep up in coves.

    Dropping KY Lake a foot a day this week might have a lot to do with that. I'll assure you the gills and redears ARE NOT where they were last weekend now.
