Thank you, Chucky! Maybe I can work in a UK game on the same trip. :biggrin
Sent out "thank you" emails to all the donating supporters, as per the email addresses listed on the flyer.
Bobby Garland & Jiffy Jigs emails failed to deliver.
Jack Wells (BnM) is the only person that has replied to my emails.
This is a copy of his reply :
" Thanks for the email! I’m glad to know that efforts are being made to get children into this great sport. I have four of them myself, and there’s a lot of distractions these days.
As always, please let me know if I can ever help you in any way.
Best Regards and Good Fishing!"

I don't know what i was thinking :banghead :bash. Must have been trying to rush. On Jiffy Jig, i misspelled her last name in the email. But i got it right under "contact" :dono. Instead of belinda.blantley..... it is "belinda.brantley...." . On Bobby Garland, the "email" was suppose to be under "contact". Instead of emailinfo@...... it was just suppose to be info@......
SORRY EVERYONE !!!!!!!
I guess i didn't proof read it enough. I guess i am grounded. No gps coords for christmas :Rofl.
Nah ... you ain't "grounded". It was a honest mistake. But, we will have to give you a "time out" for the next couple of days :Rofl (lucky for you, it's supposed to rain a couple of inches during that time ;) )
I'll make the corrections & send the emails to Bobby Garland & Jiffy Jig.
I did get a response from Bassassassin .... Liz Fee's response to my email was ... "We are so happy to hear this !!" (which I assume is in response to my stating that the kids & adults, both, were thrilled to get such great donated prizes)
Hopefully, many more of the attending members have sent thank you emails to these generous sponsors. It can only help us keep/gain sponsors donating to our events.

I should have never peaked at the pictures, it made me sick to realize that I missed the one thing that i'd been so looking forward to ever since joining this site. The only good that I can report of my trip to Ohio is a charter service out of Port Clinton, Ohio, The Sassy Sal. From the lady who answered the phone to the captain of the boat, I give them high marks. They made this ole red neck feel right at home as I brought home seven nice walleye. So guess i'll hang out and wait on the next adventure to happen. Just be sure an keep me posted.
You'll get at least a months notice of any repeat event ... just keep checking back on this forum. We've discussed the possibility of having a Fall Brawl on Green, which would likely take place in Oct.
But, in the meantime ... keep your eyes peeled on here for further reports on what's happening at Green River Lake. You might just run into some of the members that frequent the lake, that might give you some hints on where the fish are hanging out.
