Sonar session

I want to thank rnvinc for bringing up the idea for the session and for all his hard work preparing the displays and handouts. You guys that didn't make it missed an education.

It gave me a good reason for cleaning and moping my showroom to remove months of muddy boot and dog footprints. It was nice meeting those of you whom I had not met. It was also good to have our semi-permanent resident hang-gliding expert chaunc (ask him about that) from PA. We shared my boat all day Monday (had to get away from Benton and Tater Day!!!) and he talked at length about the session and many of the things he learned and wrote down. He's going to teach me that hang-gliding technique so watch out!! Class guy all the way around.

I would be willing to do it again if there's enough interested parties...

There were a few things that we didn't get to cover because of me running my mouth so late...

I really wanted to get into how to use the "donut" to your advantage in any type of fishing method (sorry Mark)...
But we just ran out of time...

Post your interests of another "sitdown-knockheads-sonar session" here or in a different thread and we'll see what arises...

Very informative session. i'll be tweeking my unit for the next few trips. Thanks fellas for the invite and hospitality. Fish was good, session was great, but getting to meet all the guys from down here was priceless. Really glad I made it. Thanks Doug and Rickie and all the crew that showed up.

It's usually best to pm questions to me that can't be asked in the open forum...as it gives me time to look up info and put together pertinent references that will best answer your question ...

(Plus, I work shiftwork and sometimes I may be working and/or sleeping odd hours)....

PM me anytime....I check in a few times a day usually..

I would like to attend a session, but I never know what might come up to prevent me being there. For the past week or more I have been fighting the creeping crud and before that my spouse was sick.
