Complaining? You mean 1 guy taking up 2 lane on a launch ramp? That's everyday up here.
pull down beside him where he cant get back in the truck.
seen the same thing today. they just pull up where ever the truck stops and get out and leave the truck where noone can drive through the parking lot. And they wonder why we dont want them here, it's not the fishing, its the stuff on the ramps.
Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

just squeeze in there, I'm pretty sure he won't be complainin too![]()
Serious Buffaloe13? No one from KY would do that? (I dont think BIGBRADDAD said they were from out of state.) I can't believe that seeing the things I have at Patoka. Kind of reminds me of the soil bank days. Some mostly hunters would complain about out of state hunters. Now they are complaining their businesses are closing and economy is hurtng. Pheasant hunters brought so much money to those states and still do bring quite a bit to a lot of states just as fishing and recreation brings a lot of money to KY. That money eventually helps not only the residents of KY but also the State. I can't help it there are slobs from out of state but I assure you all are not and some in state are slobs as well. Sorry but I am just tired of the jabs one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch.
Pffftt ... I've seen worse !! (locals & oos'rs both)
Gauging the width of the ramp in that picture, I'd say two other vehicles/boats could launch at the same time and still have plenty of wiggle room. You just need to hope that the drivers are good at backing their rigs up straight.

Isn't this typical ramp procedure? Couldn't see if he was ready to launch or as usal loading his boat.![]()
From Steve Wunderele - 10-2-84 --"A fishing trip maybe brief, but it's memories are endless."
I'm gonna say that's a local. Looks like a Royal Oaks Chevy Plate on the front. As a matter of fact I'm not for sure but I think I know who that is. I'll inform him that he was busted!
I wouldn't split that ramp if I had to. Both sides are get'n busted up pretty bad and you're gonna tear something up doing that. Both sides aren't even and there is some re-bar sticking out in places.
And gone_fishing... I agree that 1 bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch, but if you keep bite'n into bad apples sooner or later it's gonna leave a bad taste in your mouth!
We put in a lot of time on the water here and you have NO IDEA some of the things we see! Sometimes it will make ya mad and sometimes you'll laugh your butt off at the pure stupidity. Most people don't do it on purpose, they just don't know. Most of the time I'll try to NICELY tell them what they've done wrong and hope they take it the right way. Some do and some don't, but either way most of them are not repeat offenders once you call them on it.![]()
