fished last 3 days hard

2 trips to guist ck and 1 to c run. cleaned a bunch a crappie. freezer is stocked for the fishfry.

Any size. I have never done any good on Guist Creek for crappie. Actually hit it two years ago for gills and couldn't believe how many I caught there. Not bad size either. Nothing like KY Lake gills but not bad size. As far as crappie goes I have never caught a keeper. Of course I haven't tried in a few years so might need to head out and try again.

depends what u tk a keeper is? lol i will filay a 8 in crappie esp a blk one, we like to eat them. i have caught better fish this yr than the last 5 yrs. the biggest this yr is 13 1/2 in. not countin the 8lb hybred my buddy caught

I try sticking to the 10" rule but have been known to put a knife to a 9" crappie. I do a lot of fishing and hunting though and typically keep a pretty full freezer between some ocean trips, crappie, gills, and deer meat.
