Default Good day on Jonathan Creek 3/22

Good day with my sons on Jonathan Creek 3/22. Fish were on brush or docks 3-6 feet deep. Casting tube jigs.

My youngest son is a student at Murray State and put it on ole' Dad... ...this time. Next trip will be a different story!

Hey Wiskers. Yes, several females with eggs. Sorry, we are not sophisticated nor disciplined enough to release the females. As I said, my son is at Murray State and had been fishing all last week while on spring break. He caught them all week in shallow water.

Naw, no problem whit keep'n the females. I was just interested in whether there were females to see where the fish were at in their spawning approach.

Were there any Blacks in the bunch?

I pack this information back. I NEVER would have even tried them that shallow under these conditions! Good to know this!
