Green River lake was nasty looking yesterday.
I finally had the chance to try out spider rigging for the first time at Green River yesterday and finally for the first time I caught some crappie
!!! I caught 13 keepers and a few small ones but only kept 3 that is larger than 10.5 inch. The water was so muddy at Green yesterday that when I had my live wells turned on I couldn't even see the crappies in there and also there was wood and logs floating everywhere. Do you guys think that if the water was clearer the bite would be much better?
I am really wanting to try out the rig again soon when the water is much clearer and hopefully get more bites than yesterday.

it was slow for us also.only 5 keepers out of about 20.fished in the afternoon.water temp was down from previous trip and water color was a factor for us.heard that they were catching some earlier in day up in river where water color was much better.
