Hey guys, I'mnot on here a lot and do way more looking than talking (mainly cause I onlymake to KY lake a few times a year) but I'm heading back to one of my favoriteplaces this coming weekend. A group of us will be staying around Bee Springsjust wanted to know if anyone has been catching fish. We were down last yearthis exact same time (as has been said by everyone) what a difference a yearmakes. Although last year the weather was way different we were catching themdeep then as well. We are planning to fish no matter what but I was hoping someonecould give me an idea what to expect. I realize this is a pretty bold ask forhelp but we're just hoping to catch some fish and have never fish water thiscold.
Any help would be appreciated. PMs Welcome.
Thanks guys and I hope the fishing has been good for everyone. - It beats the heck out of work!
Tell George and Chris at Bee Springs Hello for me. George is a wealth of knowledge about current and seasonal patterns for his area of the lake.
We had rain and storms this AM and last night. The main lake will take a while to muddy up but the bays should be really stained. Crappie are scattered and being caught all over the place, just not in great numbers. The lake is still around winter pool and you will need to keep an eye on the map as well as the locator. I still haven't heard of any temps above 50. Supposed to be cool all week with some nights in the 20s.
