I live in the central KY area. I have heard and been witness to some really nice crappie fishing at Taylorsville Lake in Spencer County.

Does anyone know when the best (months/times) are to try tofind the fish? Late March? Early April?
Any recommendations as to which ramp to use to find fish?
Any other tricks to the lake?
Minnows? Jigs?
Whats the crappie fishing look like this year, thus far?

I have primarily used the ramp (Van Buren, maybe) down by the Salt River andfished the stickups…. Minnow under bobber…. Without much luck….
