Carp Tourney on Barkley and Kentucky Lakes

In an effort to reduce the Asian carp population on Barkley and Kentucky Lakes, the Kentucky Dept. of Fish and Wildlife conducted a Carp Tournament for commercial fishermen on March 12 & 13, 2013. The goal was to eliminate 100 tons of carp through the use of nets. A fisherman I talked to during the weigh in said he only netted two bass through an entire day of fishing and those were the only "game" fish he caught. The total number of pounds has not yet been tabulated.

Kinda surprised they let them add buffalo to their total since it wasn't the target.
