    Default Blood River?


    Hey guys, I was curious as to where I could purchase minnows around the blood river area? I've always had them before I went and now I will have to purchase them around the lakes. Not much worried about price as I figure I need them no matter. Any answers greatly appreciated!!!!

    I am not an expert of the area. We stay at Irvin Cobb and they usually have some there for the fisherman staying there. There is a marina at Irvin Cobb with a separate owner that sells them and there is a bait shop up the road just a little north of the famous bridge that got in the way of the barge. I am sure there would be others so this should be an interesting thread. Good luck at Blood River we will be there early April.

    Depending on where you launch, there is a bait shop on 94 right before the turn to head towards Wildcat.

    The bait shop on 94 has good minnows and very reasonable. He opens early but I believe he is closed on Wednesdays
    The only thing better than a day of fishing.Is a week of fishing.
