Hey guys ! This is my second post so bare with me. Lol. I fish a lot of crappie on green river lake , I am wanting to learn how to catch walleyes there as well , anyone that would help me out as to where to fish there for eyes and what to use here in a month or so or whenever they start biting good. Thanks in advance. Jason![]()
Jason, I'm moving this over to the KY state forum, where you'll likely get more replies.
I've only caught a few Walleye from Green, mid to late April, pea gravel bank, casting a 1/16oz chartreuse marabou Roadrunner. Pure luck, thoughas I was casting for Crappie
(not to mention, it was a long time ago)
I would study up on how Walleye are caught in other lakes ... and what the habits of Walleye are, given water temps & seasonal movements ... then apply that to how you go about fishing for them on Green.
