    Default The Corp has pulled the cork - Rough River


    Went by the Rough River today and noticed that the lake is basically "GONE"! This year the corp has started lowering the lake an extra 5 ft during winter pool as they used to do several years ago. Ive been crappie fishing the lake for the last 4 years in early spring with good success. Does anyone remember fishing it years ago with a 25ft drop? Are we likely to see the fishing diminish because of the lower lake level? I'm kinda stressed

    Less water is less lake to cover searching for Crappie!

    Just fish it like we do Barren. They draw it down 25' too. Find the old creek channel and spider rig the ledges.
