Rikie I will be there.
Chuck, that address won't show up on GPS. They can use 30 North Main in Benton and that will get them to Parker's. Go between Parker's and Chopper's Hair Salon and you will be right in my parking area.
BTW, if some want to come directly from the lake, I have plenty of area to park trucks with trailers.
If anyone has snapshots made with their unit on the water...(on a SD Card)...you're welcome to bring them...
We may have time to critique them together and see what looks good and what settings could possibly have made the snapshot better...

I would love to come to this. I never have been able to understand sonar settings and I deal with computers all the time. But I cannot make this one. 2hr drive each way and the Easter Bunny has to visit that night at my house. Maybe next time our one of you will take pity on me and let me supply the boat and Humminbird and in return you can show me how to do more that turn it on, which is about as good as it gets now
Well, I hope I have enough visuals and demostrations stuff ready to fool you guys into thinking I know something about sonar.....
Is there any other ideas you guys wanna throw into the mix that you would like to see us talk about...??
Well anything except Low...Quacker rotfl
Rickie
That just means that me and BBD can sit in the back and heckle you. :Rofl
Tim, we can make fart sounds and throw peanuts at them all night. All that "brain power" might be overwhelming!!!!!
Well...I think we had 11 or 12 at the "sitdown-knockheads-sonar session" Saturday 3-30-13...
Sorry to keep you guys out so late but it was a lot of material to go over...(I tend to ramble sometimes)...
My pm is always open if you guys have questions...or ask them on the open board if it's something others can learn from also...
Thanks to Doug for allowing us the use of his shop.....:HandsClapping
Thanks to Tim for cooking us up some asian carp to try...:highfive
Rickie
Thank you rickie....i really enjoyed it....i picked up alot........the carp was good what kind of seasoning was that?.........thanks to everyone i really enjoyed it.
Thanks Richie I learned alot!
I put a good helping of Tony Chacheres Cajun Seasoning and a good sprinkle of Hot Shots pepper mix in my corn meal. It is all by guestimate. Funny thing is when I went to put the McCormick Hot Shots pepper in the meal Sat, I dumped the rest of the contents of the container into the bowl. I ended up spooning some of the pepper out. I normally use yellow corn meal but white was all my wife had in the cabinet.
Glad you liked it.
It was great! I can already tell the difference in my images!
The Carp was awesome!
Musta went out and bought a Lowrance! :Rofl
Devil Icon
Tim, I thought that the Lowrance was head and shoulders above the birds on the DI but I'm not so sure now. I slowed that scroll speed way down and I'm get a LOT clearer images! I can even pick out fish now.
With that being said... That's the DI on the 788 HD DI. The blended DI on the 988 still SUCKS!
I'll be back saturday for a week and get out and check mine out.........hey wiskers whats the best way to catch up with you and get the c and c rod
