After church today I got permission from my bride to try out that new 12' spider rigging rod on Barren today. To say it was a little muddy on the main lake would be an understatement. It was so thick I pulled my boat out to the channel, stomped a trough so I could push my minnows up and down the ridge......I tend to exaggerate when the plan goes awry. I did manage a few and two on my new rod I like my new rod! I'd say in another day or so the main lake will be perfect as the back of Peters Creek is gin clear. You ever feel like you've thrown back more minnows than you've bought?
