    Default Crappie fillets

I know it is illegal to sell crappie fillets, but can you trade them? I have had a really good year and I have over 75lbs of fillets in my freezer. I would love to do some trading but I also dont want to get in trouble. Any suggestions?

Don't you have possession limits in your state?

Nice problem goes to a great cause. I think you can legally barter anything you have legally in your possesion. I personally start cutting back after I start getting a lot of fish in the freezer. I have a lot of family and friends that like crappie. Nothing wrong with feeding your family and that includes church!

Two years ago I was fishing from the bank with a friend of mine when my phone rang, it was my son. "Dad what are you doing?" Why i'm fishing, what else. "I saw a boat on craigs list, let's chek it out." We met at a McDonalds and went to the guys house and checked out the boat. Well it was perfect then and still is today. My son asked me if I thought it was worth $2300.00 and I told him, every penny. The owner strolled up and said well what do ya think? I told him that I had six crappie in my truck, would you you be willing to take them and $2000.00? My son laughed and said I never knew crappie were barganing chips. We bought the boat for $2100.00, and the guy loved the fish!

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
