posts on ohiogamefishing are saying the lockmaster wont let anyone fish the wall out of a boat due to barge companies complaints over fisherman wont get out of the way. Thought I would give a heads up to anyone traveling a long distance to fish meldahl. This isnt the first time this has happened. Like everyone has said it only takes a few to spoil it for everyone else.

It's a shame a few knuckleheads can ruin it for everybody. I haven't been down this year but a friend has give me some good reports.

I heard that there have been bunches of boats fishing around the lock walls, and some were pretty slow to move when the horn blew. A shame .. good sauger fishing at Meldahl.

stopped to look at the ramp and it is 98% clear of debris and mud @ 22 feet. The turn aroud had alittle ice on it, very doable. Neville looked fine also what I could see of it standing from across the river.
