Kentucky River 12-3-12

Took off work today and went fishing. I had 5 keepers. This one was the biggest . Water temp was 44.

You know its a good one when its too big for your checker! I have a green one like that but it just isn't wide enough for slab crappie. I carry a "golden rule" style just to check these fish. I know they are legal but for the really good ones it is neat to see how long they are. Nice fish gofish! I am happy with five when you have an anchor like that one.

Was you in a boat? I was thinking of going over next to halls in the creek area and see if they might be in there yet. Need to wait til the water goes down, hope its down by then.
