Thumbs up Nice day to be on the water ... Yesterday's report

Decided to give the local Trout a respite

Hooked up with Chucky & went to Green River Lake, in pursuit of some Crappie.

Dead calm waters greeted us, and hung around for an hour or so ... then steadily increased to the forecasted 8-10mph. We never really found a school, but did find decent 10-11" fish that were quite willing to munch down on our minners. One here & one there was the rule for the day. Days total was 15 Crappie cleaned & put in the fridge

Water temps were in the high 40's to low 50's
Fish caught around submerged brush .. ~12-18ft deep

Last time I hooked up with Chucky, I must have caught 5 or 6 Channel Cats while fishing for Crappie .... this trip it was Bluegill
NEXT time .... --- stay tuned

    ... cp

Nothing like a day on the water good or bad CP, sounds like you and Chucky had a goodtime, can't wait for the Green River Crappiefeast, really enjoyed the fellowship and good food......
