    Default Anxious for the "Thump"

Tonight i'll order my Attwood aerator pump through Walmart so I can plug up that gaping hole in the stern of my boat where the old worn out one was. It should be here in time for the beginning of the winter draw down at Barren River Lake. Can't wait for those cold/cool mornings that start out frosty and wind up with me standing over my fillet table with a sharp knife in my stubbyrright hand and a 12" or 13" fat slab grimmising in my left. Anyone out there who's waiting on the same? If so, do you like spider rigging in the late fall winter? I'm the fat ole man in the Bass Tracker with a retired Bowling Green Firefighter in the back and we are pushin and pullin minnows just off the State ramp, out over the main channel. If you swing past my rig, and if you like creamer in your coffee, i'll give ya a hot cup of mine anytime!

Well for all you non-typing viewers out there yall will be thrilled to know that my live-well is singing like a well oiled machine and the switch on my trolling motor works perfectly. I took it out on Friday for its maiden voyage along with 4 dozen of Port Oliver finest crappie minners. As the wind was brisk, I left out of the State boat ramp and rounded the corner up into Peters Creek and started spider rigging at the pipe that draws water up out of the lake and onto the golf coarse. Marked fish ocassionally at a depth of 12'-18', not doing much till I came to the lay down trees and that's where I struck gold. At one point I had 3 fish on at the same time. What more could I have asked for, it was a great day. Caught fish with no leaksin the boat. Love my new Attwood 500.
