Well all......finally able to stay awake for more than 15 minutes. Pain medication gets the best of me for sure. This is one of the first days that I can feel my right leg from the knee down. They put a nerve block in the leg before surgery and that thing was absolutely numb for every bit of 48 hours! After the numbness wore off though....... Everything is going ok for now, just tired of the couch and sitting here not doing anything. I have read, watched, thought of, dreamed of, everything that has to do with fishing. Thinking of making some jigs today to pass some time. Thanks for everyone's well wishes and here is a picture to show ya all just what the problem was:

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I feel for ya brother! God knows I have been through some junk myself. Just a few days ago I tore an achilles tendon and am limping around. Suppose to keep my leg for for two weeks. Ha! A week at best. Heck its fall and the crappie are biting! Hope all goes well for ya!

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I just showed my wife this post and it made her cringe, she broke her foot right across the middle of it when she fell off a step stool and and got it tangled in the stool on the way down. It took six screws to put it back together and they took them back out after a year. Seeing your Xray brought back memories she would rather forget.
    Good luck on your recovery.

It was good to meet you and talk with you at the get together. Hope you have a full recovery and in the future I hope them boys take it a little easier on you. Take care!
