    Default Green River Report 6/7 - 6/10

Got down late Thursday so i didn't get to Fish any. Fished Friday morning from 7:30 am till 11:00 am. Where i have not been down for about three weeks, the fish have moved even thou the water temp was still 76 on Friday. Finished with only nineteen. Caught them in 10-12' fow 6ft deep using jigs w/minnows and minnows.
All of them was between 9 1/2"-10 1/2". Fished Saturday from 7:30am till 10:00am. Caught a limit in 15fow 12' deep using jigs w/minnows and minnows. Water temp was 76.6. Most was 10"-11", did have about 6 that was 12" and only one 13". Fished Sunday in the same area from 7:30am till 10:30am with a limit. Had more larger fish. Half of them was between 10 1/2"-12" with about 5 being 13". Water temp was 78.4. Only got to fish the mornings. Rest of the day was with the wife and grankids. My granddaughter wanted me to put her on the computer so here are a couple of pics of them.

Had to rent a pontoon from Joey. Could not fit everyone on my boat at the same time.

This one does not like to touch fish. She says they are to slimey but she will eat her weight in fish.

Spoke with David Jones Friday (kyteacher). He had just came in from a guided trip with 90 keepers.

Seen Nathan and his boys Saturday (Netman75). Did you do any good going back out and jigging?

Sunday i got to meet Stanley, James's father(Abell Outdoors). Very nice fellow. James, you don't have to be a member to fish the tourney on the 23rd. It is a open tourney.

Paul, Thursday on our way down my wife took my phone from me. I could not check anything. At first she was not going to let me call Chris (CUZZIN) back. I told her either let me call or i would just ride to his house which is only about a half mile away from the lake if that. She didn't want me on the phone the whole time we were down there.

Prty Cloudy, you almost have to run over me. My eye sight is bad and its hard to see what color boats are unless you are right beside me. Just look for a short fat man in white tee shirt and shorts on the front of a tan fisher with a mercury 90.

CrappieHoppie, like dutch said, i don't think they are completely ready. When the water temps get above 80-82 they will start. I did see some people fishing a flat but only talked to one. He had 6 keepers. But i will say this, i fished sat and sun on a flat. I was the only boat on this flat.

Stsburnsy, I don't see how i missed you and your dad. I usually alway see you all. Good on your alls catch but i bet your dad was upset. I know he likes to get those limits.

CP.... Sorry i didn't get back to you last week but i had something come in for work. Then i got busy with work and getting ready for our family trip but i did not forget about it. I checked it while i was fishing and yes i have north and west cords or thats what it comes up as on my 797. You just let me know what you need.

If everything go's as plan this week. I am coming down Friday morning and fish till Sunday.

    Good luck to everyone.

Yes thanks for the report. Spoke with him (Stanley) today and he said the same thing about the tourny, that's good to know. Can't wait to get up there and try and find some fish. Didn't take you long to find the big ones.

My grandson was smiles from the time we got there till the end. Then he started crying when it was time to go home. Had to promise to bring them back in the fall and then he was fine.

Good job on your alls catch today. Do you remember what the water temp was today?
I remember that now. You all told me that the first time i met you all on the water. I was leaving and gave you the minnows i had left. You all had just a few minnows left and your dad said he really wanted
to get his limit. I think you all had 51 or 52 then. I use to go out with no less than 300 minnows, if there was two of us then 400. The last 7 or 8 times i have been out i have only been getting 200. Twice i have had to go back and get more but overall the 200 seams to do ok. If you all go this weekend maybe i'll see you. Good Luck.

I'll be out Friday morning before daylight and will probably leave before it hits 91 degrees. I have a feeling these few days in a row of 90 degree temps will speed things up a bit on the water.
