Default How's the fishing been on Green River?

Just wondering how the bite has been up on Green River. I will be visiting family and staying on a houseboat at Holmes Bend Jun 20-26. We usually catch a lot of small ones there on jigs around the boat slips. This year I plan on getting out on the lake and exploring. Should have a lot of fun learning a new lake and catching some crappie. Just was curious about the bite is all. Thanks in advance.

bite was good yesterday. Buddy and I had 36 keepers casting jigs. Fish 12 to 15 foot deep on main lake wood and in the front of the creeks.
Fished one secondary point that I believe had late spawners on it. Fishing near the bottom in 14 fow water and almost every fish came off it with his
    spawning colors on.

Thanks. Thats good to know. We have been catching ours here the same way here on a river system. It's been two weeks since we have caught any spawning fish. Water temp is 83 degrees now. That's a nice haul colayn. I'll be glad to clean just 10-15 a day. My dad likes to bluegill fish so I'm going to try and find some crappie. I am looking forward to the trip.

Caught 31 around Holmes Bend Tuesday 6/5/12. Caught them on minnows around wood near the bank in 14 fow.

It was windy, but the water color was okay.
