Ohio river tribs. 5/4/12

Left work early & fished today from around 10:00 to 3:00 ended with 11 keepers. Most of the Meldahl pool creeks I was in, were muddy. Found some clearer water up one on the Ohio side. 4 quality fish over 12" with all over 10" Good day in all. Cats, Bass and Bluegill were all biting.
Minnnows & slip corks.
Better than work for sure.

Wish I could go. Boat trailer down bad hub. Hope to get it fixed this week.

Nice report. I figured everything would be a mess in the creeks.

Most of them were a muddy mess with high water. River level was at 36ft. If you knew where the structure was they were still on it. just had to fish a little deeper. I wanted to go again Saturday or Sunday, but the water was even worse after Friday night's rain. (39ft.) River was full of big debris.
