    Default Advise on which lake to take my dad and my son aon a fishing trip in early June?


    Advise? I was thinking about Rough River, Nolin or Barren....any advise would be appreciated...
    We want to catch crappie, gills,,,maybe some white bass..

    Yeah, if you're coming from Jasper, might as well head to Barkley or Ky Lake. I wouldn't waste time on those others, particularly if you're looking for gills/redear.

    Speaking of Jasper, you've got some really good small lakes close to you that I fish on occasion. Beaver Dam has some big ole panfish in it...

    Yea we are lucky here, we has some pretty good fishing holes close.....Boggs is also a good one...
    Thanks for the advice ,,any particular part of Ky lake or Barkley?
