I haven't been out for a few days but it seems like it has slowed Slab. I have been doing better for gills. The crappie seem to be in transition right now. The best bite may be in a little deeper water but I haven't tried deep. I believe the shallow bite isn't over as I believe crappie will still work in and out of the shallows as stragglers spawn, feed, etc. I will know more after this weekend and next week. I plan on hitting it (as much as my back will stand) and will know more then.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

We fished Blood River last Sat all day for 17 good keepers and all day today (Thur) for 15 good keepers. Sure has slowed for us compared to limits the last several times but guess what were going again tomorrow!!! Can't pass up a good day to fish.

What was your pattern for the keepers? Deep, shallow, casting jigs, still fishing, etc?

Long Line trolling .08 to 1.1 in 12' to 18' water. We just picked them up at random couldn't find no real pattern. Pulling single jigs 1/16th roadrunner or doubles 1/16 & 1/24th or 1/16th & 32nd.
