I think the 68-80 bridge across Ky Lake is closed for repairs. A large vessel destroyed a section of the bridge a month or so back, and am sure that is what they are referencing.

I will be heading out next week down to Wildcat Creek campground. I'm heading down through Hokinsville and my directions say 80 west is temporarily closed wondering if that is true. Going down 41 to 69 etc.

Yep, big hole in the bridge. You will need to find another route.
Hey Indiana,
Bring 41 south to (WB) West Kentucky Parkway (it is going to be the new I-69 but is still known as the WK or the Wendell Ford. Take West Kentucky to the end to I-24 west bound. Take 24 towards Paducah. You are on it for 16 miles then take Purchase Parkway south towards Benton, Fulton. You can take it about 5 mile to US 68 east or 10 miles to 641 south. If you need supplies I would go the ten miles to 641. Follow it south to Murray. (about 15 miles) Do your shopping in Murray then go south about 6 lights to Main St. It is also 94.Take it east bound about 3 miles to a right on 280 then 280 five miles to the "y" left to Wildcat.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
If you have to go through Hoptown for some reason, go through Dover, TN and cut back up on 119 at Paris Landing.
Thanks guys! For the info. Glad to find out before get and have to back track into the unknow.
West KY pkwy from Eddyville to Pennyrile pky, and Pennyrile pky from WK to Nortonville are officially I-69 and have been for a few months.
Good to know Speck. I have ran it to E-town and back several times this spring and haven't noticed the new signs. But you say part of the Pennyrile is now 69 too? I thought Nortonville set just south of the WK on the Pennyrile. I didn't think 69 was to run south but north to Henderson. (eventually) But hey, I didn't see the new signs either.![]()
