Thumbs up Green River Lake 17/18

From looking at the others posts everyone is having fun

I finally got a chance to go fishing for a couple of days.

Saturday 17 : I waited till the rain to come thru. Fished from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Full limit using minnows and jigs tipped with minnows. 8-11 fow / 4-5 ft deep. water temp started 60.6 and
when i left it was 63.8. Smallest was 10" and largest was 14"1/4. Most were 10"1/2-11"1/2.

Sunday 18 : Fished from 7:30 am till 11:00am. Full limit using minnows. For some reason they wouldn't touch a jig. Fished some spot. 8-11 fow / 4-5 ft deep. temp started 61.9 and was 62.7 when
i left. Smallest was 10" and the largest was 13" 3/4. Had 9 that was 13"-13"3/4. Most of the others was 11"-12".

Sorry about no pics. Its hard when you are by yourself. Maybe if i bug joey at Holmes Bend he may do it for me. Rofl

Hey Chucky, good to see you back on line.
    Been worried about you.
Cole said tell you hey. We went to Nolin today and managed 24 keepers casting jigs, but from watching everyone else it was
obvious they were really hitting minnows.

    How ya been Paul,

The past few months has been rough. Since November i have had my father, uncle, cousin and two real close friends pass away. December and January every weekend my son had to do things
to get ready to ship out for the army. He left in February. Wifes been having it bad with her heart but got it under control. now come this Wednesday i finally get to have my gall bladder remove. It seems
that it is starting to calm down.

Tell Cole i said hello. Bet he's growing like a weed. Is he outfishing yet? Are you and cole coming to the slabfeast at green this year?

Sounds like you all are having fun at Nolin. still learning the lake? You should always have minnows just in case they don't want the jigs.

After i recoup from my surgery i will see about getting you and cole going to nolin one day. I will be out for two weeks they said so i will get to play on the puter alot more this week.Rofl

Chucky, sorry to hear about all that. A lot for one fellow to deal with.
If my buddy can get off work we will be at the slabfeast, if not Cole and I will likely go to Nolin. The quality of the fish there
    is impressive
I owe you a trip , so if you want to go cast jigs one day let me know.
