Grayson Lake 3-20
Me and my neighbor hit the lake at about 1pm, which is the worst time of day to fish, but hey we wanted to get out on the water. We ran into a friend as we were putting in and they were pulling out and he said they caught quite a few crappie, didn't keep any though. Most were small, but had a handfull of bigger ones. So we started out fishing for bass after trying out a new prop on the boat. After an hour or so of no luck bass fishing, I threw a crappie rig out around a stickup and caught 2 6ish inch crappie about 8 feet deep in 15 fow. We moved on down the lake bass and crappie fishing, my neighbor caught a small rock bass, I got one more crappie about 10 inches and he got one more bass about 8 inches. By this time we were both sunburnt so we decided to head to the dock.
The water temp we between 68 and 72 degrees... In the middle of March. Crazy stuff.
