I couldnt find a name on mine.

also make sure that it is marked correctly my is 1/4 short so when it reads 10" it's really only 9 3/4" my buddies is 3/8" short

so make sure to check it with a good ruler or tape measure

They make a shorty "Golden Rule" that I have also screwed to the deck of my boat. Makes it easy for a quick check. Right up front and you can always find it!
