As big and varied as Jonathon Creek is... You would never even have to leave the bay...
You might be able to walk across the entire bay from boat to boat by then...
Lots of boats....LOTS of boats....but lots of fish there too...

thanks for the replies, sounds like we might do ok. got a small boat ,didn't want to get out to far from shore. thanks again
Once the fish are closer to spawn like the time of the year you are going you can walk from one boat to another. I was like you about 10 years ago when I went to Blood River the 1st time and didn't know where to go once I backed the boat off the trailor. Once I scanned the lake I found about 50 to 75 boats stacked ontop of each other and figured I would head that direction.

Longline trolling will be the ticket at that time. Just toss out some curly tails on 4-pound line and turn on the trolling motor. Bring back-up batteries. It really is that easy at that time. The purists will look down on you, but if you are unfamiliar with the creek and don't have secret brush piles, that is the best way to catch a limit. Stay at it and you will catch a mess.
Kentucky Lake is a 160,000 acre lake. KY Lake is 185 miles long.
Barkley Lake is 57,000 acres of water.
So you will have plenty of water too fish.
Next week will offer some great weather, IMO
