Not to me, 16 mph wind with isolated thunderstorms. I'll stay home and work on the hot rod.

Time to go wac and stack em! I like the temp but not the wind forecast. This warming trend will get the fish moving up and toward the bank.
Good luck and give us a number report on the fish and the number of boats and fishermen on the lake tomorrow.

I thought I would brave the wind last year and did. Won't do it again. I had my trip planned to come down to ky lake and was off work so nothing was stopping me. I started out fishing in Newport early in the morning and as the morning went on the wind picked up alot. They were calling for 22 mph winds that day but I think they were higher. In Newport it wasn't as bad but out in the main lake I could see some giant waves. I finally decided to head back to Mansard Island Marina were I put in and boy was it a ride. If I could get to the island across the main lake the island was going to block the wind so that is what my plan was. I was going at idle speed and I would goose it jumping from wave to wave. Needless to say I finally made it to the island and took a minute to gather myself. I went to plane off and my boat wouldn't. I turned the bilge pump on and alot of water had come in. The waves were coming over the front of my boat until I started goosing it. I was the only boat on the water all day that I seen because I was the only one stupid enough. I learned my lesson that day. Stay Home.

15+mph on Kentucky Lake is not something to take lightly unless your in a big wide boat IMO. Even with big boat can still be dangerous.

About lunch time, I looked out my office window at the flagpole and it was standing straight out horizontal to the ground (not the flag, the pole)! Gosh it's been windy here on Lake Barkley this afternoon.

Real nice day to be on a big lake yesterday. Don't post stuff like this, some people might read it and not look at what is really going on. Here's a link to where a man capsized and drowned yesterday on Reelfoot.
