    Default Bass Club

I know this is a Crappie site but, I wanted to let you guys know of a club I put together this year. We are going to be covering the central part of the state. Low cost, Low cost dues.

If interested please check out the web site I made for it. We have at least 12-15 boats as of now. Let me know what you think of the web site and if you would like to join us use the contact us button on the home page. Thanks

Sorry, but don't have much interest in bass. I used to do a lot of bass fishing. Gave it up many years ago when I got turned on to crappie fishing. ( A lot of the fellas on this site refer to bass as "Green Carp"). But I did catch 6 of them today while spider-rigging for crappie on Ky Lake. Most of them averaged about 2 to 3 lbs, but number 3 out of the 6 was a hog. He rolled up alongside my boat on one of my 12ft trolling rods and gave me a good look. He must have weighed 7 lbs or better. Then he made a screeching run and pulled off. I'm just thankful it was on the outside trolling pole.

Pretty cool. I organized for two years before it became too much for me to keep up with. I usually only target bass during the fall and winter and have moved away from the tournament scene alltogether, but I always like to see ways for anglers to get involved closer to home. Good luck.
