What happened to all the pictures that were here last night?
Now I'm worried. I was thinking the same thing Wiskers was thinking too. I was wondering if I would have to go from mono to braid to handle rubbing up against the steel and how many jigs would I lose. rotfl
Are they going to drop it near there or drag it out of the area? That shoreline area could use some more structure.
It's my understanding Chaunc that the owners of the boat are responsible for removing the debris. They are waiting on clean-up crews. With metal prices as high as they are I bet they will salvage all they can. Years ago my Dad had a welding shop and he and I salvaged an iron old county bridge across a creek and those beams weigh a ton. They will be probably be required to, or at least want to salvage eveything that might have dropped in the lake. There is a lot on the bow but I bet just as much has dropped in. We won't have much left to fish around when they are done. I have done a lot of good in Rhodes and Vickers. I would love to have some new spots in either. But if I do I guess I will have to put them out myself. banghead
Acording to the people at Kenlake, the rest of the bridge seems to be moving, and shifting slightly.
So they are monitoring that.
If the bridge is shifting, like they say it is, then they can't repair it, they will just have to rebuild a new bridge. This is what the people at Kenlake told me yesterday.
The Lousiville news reported that the state, COE and Coast guard was sending divers down today to look at the bridge pilings also they were going to put on sensors to detect any movement.

They have plans for a new bridge. Already done the core drilling. I doubt they will repair it just ti tear it back down in a few years. I imagine they will leave anything on the bottom that has over 25' of water over it at winter pool. JMO.
